I don’t like JavaScript much and I like frontend design even less.
Thought it’d be a nice easy task. I was wrong. Very wrong.
Pushing the same rock up to main, and honestly, I don’t mind it.
Set out to fix one small thing, now three tabs deep. Again.
Hour six code is never as good as morning code. Learnt that twice.
God is dead, staging is somehow still up. You be the judge.
Four libraries to render one tiny icon. Deleted the lot.
For some reason I have gone off of Docker lately.
That which doesn’t kill the build makes the deploy stronger. Maybe.
Read the code, write about the code, then execute the task.
We all RTFM, right?…
I’ll choose open source over corporations any day.
Guilty of over-explaining things. Dev calls run well over an hour.
If it doesn’t make sense, build a little version. Still works.
Struggled with it for a week. Turns out I wasn’t as dumb as I felt.
Best refactors happen waiting for my kid’s Taekwondo lesson to end.
Static site, no build step, and I’d like to keep it that way.
